Why STAY HERE

Freshly renovated Casa Xaver puts a modern spin on the traditional colonial home. A secluded courtyard, tropical vegetation, authentic pasta tile floors, tall wooden doors—the details that give a home true Yucatecan flavor have all been preserved, while the home’s updated floor plan opens cooking and lounging spaces to the gorgeous terrace.

Comfortable modern furniture and vivid art complement the airy interior. Whip up a meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, swim in the pool, or lounge on the shaded patio—the retractable screen walls keep everyone connected, and allow light, sound, and air to flow freely.

Each of the three bedrooms boast hotel-quality mattresses and linens plus private outdoor access, and two have their own en suite bathrooms. Amenities include A/C, WiFi, washer/dryer, and even a wine refrigerator.

Its location in the expat-favored neighborhood of Santa Ana puts Casa Xaver in the heart of the action. Stroll Paseo de Montejo, the city’s grand historic boulevard; taste Yucatecan specialities at restaurants; visit open-air markets—all within walking distance.

Casa Xaver - Sullivan D Mercedes, june 2019
This place is even more stunning in person. My family (2 adults, grandma and 2 kids under 10) had a wonderful time here. Jesse was super responsive and on time when we needed him. So many amazing places to eat nearby and such a perfect location for walking around Paseo Montejo and centro if you can get your family to leave that pool, that is. Finally, a person in our party needed medical assistance (required a few stitches after accidentally falling) and let me tell you, the home visit dr, 911 service and ER (5 mins away) were the single best medical service our family has received. Talk about peace of mind for when unexpected things happen! Stay here, you won’t regret it.

Casa Xaver - Leconte Julien, may 2019
The place is outstanding. Located in the middle of the city, everything is within reach. Beautiful place, modern, great open air design (hallway). Superb back yard and pool. The street Is a bit noisy as it’s located near downtown, but this only affects one of the three bedrooms. We went with young kids, not the most family friendly house, but it ended up being perfect after they got used to the place. Just be careful with the open space pool! We were two families with 2 cars. I read in some comments that people got into some trouble parking on the street, but we were fine for the whole stay (6 days; Fri-Wed). Also, friendly tip... make sure you keep the kitchen clean, lots of friendly neighbourhood antz ;)”
